These courses are divided into Level 1/ Level 2/ Level 3. We recommend students start with the Level 1 course. However, if a student has an extensive background or certification, they may participate in more advanced classes. This will be up to the discretion of the course instructor prior to training.

Real world encounters are dynamic, up close and personal. The training in our courses reflects that.

Advanced Courses will cover the following topics:

  • Handgun/rifle shooting fundamentals
  • Loading / Re-Loading
  • Point Shooting Concepts
  • Threat Identification
  • Multiple Threats
  • Dynamic shooting on the move
  • Realistic & disadvantaged shooting positions
  • Close quarters combat tactics
  • The use of Cover/Concealment
  • Clearing Malfunctions
  • Weapon Retention
  • Precursors that lead to violent encounter and how to avoid them
  • The physiological effects on the body during a violent encounter
  • Surviving the legal aftermath of a violent encounter

Course lengths
Level 1: 3-4 hours / 200 rounds (9am - Noon)

Level 2: 3-4 hours / 200 rounds (1pm - 5pm)

Level 3: 6-8 hours / 350 rounds (9am - 4pm)

Required Equipment:
Handgun Courses: Modern semi-auto pistol or revolver, 3 magazines / speed loaders, Holster / magazine carrier, belt, hearing protection, eye protection. Clothing for the elements suggested. We will be outside for the majority of the time, rain or shine! Water / sunscreen / bug spray recommended.

Rifle Courses: Semi-automatic rifle with sling, 2-3 magazines, hearing protection, eye protection. Clothing for the elements suggested. We will be outside for the majority of the time, rain or shine! Water / sunscreen / bug spray recommended.
